A guide to a pleasant stay at Hideaway Cove

Reservations

Please inquire about availability by clicking here to continue on to our reservation form. You may also e-mail or call us at 310-502-5023. All major credit cards are accepted, as well as cashiers checks, money orders, traveler's checks or personal checks.

Confirmed Reservations

Reservations are considered confirmed once a credit card number is received. Rates are subject to change until the reservation is confirmed.

24 Hour Hold

With the receipt of your credit card number, we would be happy to place a twenty four hour hold on any accommodation to allow sufficient time to arrange air transportation. Your credit card will not be charged until you call back with confirmed airline reservations.

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.

Should you arrive early, please feel free to check the box by your front door. If the envelope with your name on it is in the box, you're all set. If not, you will need to wait for housekeeping to finish cleaning. If they are on property, feel free to drop off your luggage, take your beach chairs and head for the ocean. Or you may wish to shop for groceries or eat lunch at any of the numerous restaurants in the area.

Deposits

A 50% deposit is required to secure any reservation. When your reservation is confirmed, you will be guaranteed a room at the quoted and agreed upon rate. The remaining 50% balance is due 60 days prior to your arrival. Rates are subject to availability and can change without prior notice. Early departures will be charged for the originally reserved number of days.

Cancellations

Notice of cancellation must be received at least 60 days (120 days for holiday season) prior to check-in to receive a deposit refund, less a $200 processing fee per unit. All monies will be forfeited if cancellation is received with less than 60 days (120 days for holiday season) notice, unless the room can be re-booked. There are no refunds for early departure unless we are able to re-book the room.

Trip Cancellation Insurance

Given the many possibilities for travel interruption, we strongly recommend the purchase of trip cancellation insurance, which is available through a variety of different companies.

Security and Lost Item Fees

By providing your credit card number, you agree to be responsible for additional charges (for excessive cleaning, laundry or check out past 11 AM), damage to the property, evidence of smoking inside the unit, use beyond the scope (no parties, receptions, luaus or other commercial use) without prior approval, occupancy beyond permitted maximum number of people and lost items. All accommodations and lanais are non-smoking. Before checking out, please be certain to check your car trunk for any beach towels or beach chairs. There is a $25 fee for lost keys, beach chairs or towels.

Minimum Stays

There is a two night minimum stay except during Holiday Season, which requires a one week stay. Holiday Season occurs during the three weeks each year from approximately December 15th to January 5th and includes Christmas week and New Years week. Reserving both Christmas and New Years requires a two week stay.

Occupancy

Occupancies shown are the maximum number of guests permitted per unit.

Taxes

We collect 14.96% occupancy taxes for the State of Hawaii.

Cleaning Fees

A cleaning fee is charged for housekeeping services provided upon your departure. The fee for each unit can be found below on the accommodation overview.

Smoking

By Hawaii State law, smoking is not allowed in any guest room or covered lanai. However, in our desire to accommodate guest needs, we ask that you discretely use our outdoor area.

Parking

There is free off street parking on property, with one space provided for each accommodation. Additional cars should be parked on the street.
